The SM40 is a robust slewing house (slewing unit) designed for smaller forestry cranes with a reach of up to approximately 4 meters. The design is based on Svensson Maskin's proven technology and has been developed to provide high operational reliability, excellent precision, and a long service life, even under demanding conditions in forestry, firewood handling, and agricultural applications.

The slewing house is manufactured from cast steel and equipped with two internal 90 mm slewing cylinders, delivering a slewing torque of 7.8 kNm. The heavy-duty construction ensures stable and controlled crane movements while minimizing maintenance requirements.

The SM40 comes with a 3-year warranty and is an excellent choice for new crane installations or when replacing a worn or damaged slewing house.
